Where is Kidcaboo operating currently?
We are licensed and insured to operate around TX, AZ, NC, SC, NE, PA, VA, FL and CT. More states coming soon.

What insurance policies cover Kidcaboo rides?
Kidcaboo has over ten policies, including commercial auto policies and multiple other policies aimed at covering Driving Nannies and Riders throughout a Kidcaboo ride. More details available, if needed, from your designated parent relations specialist during sign up and ride scheduling.

How has Kidcaboo been received by parents and their children?
87% of parents who try once end up booking weekly rides. 96% of parents use us year-after-year.

Can any ride or series of repeating rides be specialized for my child?
Absolutely! You know your child best. We encourage parents to make child-specific ride requests in the app while scheduling rides, setting up child profiles and in communication with your parent relations specialist. We will work with you, your child and Driving Nanny to ensure all are happy, cared for and comfortable throughout each ride!

Does my child always get a ride from the same Kidcaboo Driving Nanny? What happens if my Driving Nanny is not available?
Kidcaboo families tend to have the same one to three amazing Driving Nannies in their family’s Driving Nanny team. However, sometimes, a Driving Nanny may have a conflict arise, at which time we’ll be in touch with you to offer you alternative solutions if needed, such as a back-up driver or ride cancellation and refund.

Can I meet with a Kidcaboo Driving Nanny prior to my child’s ride?
Of course! We are happy to arrange that with some compensation only for that Driving Nanny. Our goal is to always ensure parents and children are comfortable with every aspect of their Kidcaboo experience.

How far in advance do I have to schedule a ride?
You can schedule a ride as far in advance as you would like or right before a ride is needed. The more notice we have, the better we’re able to fully meet your ride needs. That said, we will always do our best to accommodate a ride request, even at the last minute. PLEASE NEVER ASSUME YOUR RIDE HAS BEEN COVERED WITHOUT RECEIVING CONFIRMATION FROM US THAT A DRIVING NANNY HAS ACCEPTED YOUR RIDE.

How does your pricing work? How does it compare to other rideshare services?
Kidcaboo’s ride pricing is based on time, mileage, a ride management and safety fee, local taxes, and a credit card processing fee. Our minimum ride cost is $23.50, with repeat ride discounted pricing available. We are more expensive than Uber or Lyft because we are transporting children with the highest quality of safety and live monitoring systems in place.

What is the age range of the children Kidcaboo transports?
Kidcaboo now transports passengers of all ages who do not require a five-point harness carseat.

Where does Kidcaboo transport children?
Kidcaboo families book rides to and from sports practices and games, afterschool enrichment activities, doctors appointments, school, playdates, family / friends homes, and so much more! A ride can be booked through the Kidcaboo app to and from any location you need your child driven to.

Can my child be accompanied by an adult on their ride?
Yes! Kidcaboo allows for a parent, nanny, babysitter, guardian etc to accompany a child on a ride to and from any location.

How does compensation work?

Kidcaboo charges parents for rides based on an equation which factors in job time (arrival up to five-mins early, drive time and drop-off time), mileage when the rider is in the car, state or local taxes, a ride monitoring fee, and a credit card processing fee. There are price variations between the estimated ride cost and the actual ride cost due to actual drive time, accidents which cause rerouting of mileage and other unforeseen variables. The Driving Nanny receives a set percentage (>59.6%) of the parent ride actual price, is compensated for tolls accumulated and reported when riders are in the car, and, when applicable and agreed upon, ride bonuses, other payment and incentives offered.
