KIDCABOO EXPANSION UPDATE AND TEMPORARY SERVICE DISRUPTION FALL/WINTER 2024
Kidcaboo is thrilled to announce our plans to expand nationally within the next year. This expansion plan has been implemented with great thought over the past few years. It is in response to the demand we’ve received and our work with your families, while scaling Kidcaboo safely across eight states. Thanks to each of our thousands of users for the role you’ve played in that.
While this expansion will benefit current and many more users into the future, while also more fully meeting your families’ daily need, it will require a temporary change in our current service offerings.
Our immediate goal is to complete the first phase of our expansion as quickly, but also as safely and diligently, as possible. We expect this phase to be finished within the next six months. During this period, we need to temporarily shut down our technology. To do this, we will not be operating, to ensure adherence to state TNC laws, and compliance with insurance and other legal requirements. We understand this poses an inconvenience and that this is a pivotal time of year for your and your children’s scheduling needs. We apologize for the burden this puts on your families. I assure we have considered when to do this, and there will not be a more optimal time than now in our full assessment. We did not make this decision lightly, but are confident in the long-term benefit for all of our users.
Through this time, we will be sending and posting updates regularly, including timeline projections and new rider and user sign-up info for, both, new and current states. We will be updating driver and rider forms on our website shortly.
